FOR THE 2008 ELECTION
Richard
Emmons is the Florida 9th Congressional District Candidate in the
2008 election.
Mr.
Emmons was born in 1951 in Elgin, Illinois. He graduated from Northern
Illinois University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the
College of Business. Since graduating, he has worked for several major
corporations.
He
moved to New Port Richey, Florida in 1978 where he worked for several local
companies. In 1991 he began his own business that he continues to operate.
That business currently has over $1,000,000 in annual sales.
Mr.
Emmons was married over 16 years however he is now divorced. He has one son
who is 23 years old. In addition to other benevolent interests, Mr. Emmons
has spent much of his time volunteering for his church.
Developing new concepts and working to meld diverse ideas to form a
successful goal is Mr. Emmons strongest characteristic. His intuitive and
creative instincts have served him well throughout his business career. We
feel he is the best candidate to represent our national goals of Terms
Limits for the United States Congress and to establish a national
referendum.
